Laurie FosterEase, Imaginative, Worldly

Laurie hails from our area, but has lived in Boston and Washington, D.C., where she ran her own design business called “Design for Life” and completed projects from New York City to Hilton Head. She has built three homes and restored an antique Colonial, giving her the ability to envision how a home will live from the studs in. Laurie believes that the home is a sacred place: it’s not only our public face, but more importantly, the backdrop for most of our lifetime memories.

Janet MegonnellSophisticated, Comfortable, Pizzazz

Janet graduated from The York Academy of Arts with a major in interior design and a minor in fine arts. She is blessed to have had over thirty years of experience as an interior designer learning from the finest designers at several high end furniture stores in the Harrisburg area. Her experience has allowed her to teach interior design and design many homes for her clients, as well as showhouses for Street of Dreams, Parade of Homes and The Harrisburg Symphony. Janet believes that designing a room is like painting a fine piece of art. The composition, color and balance need to be just right for it to be pleasing to our eyes. A good design is one that meets the needs and reflects the personality of the client not the designer. Janet’s greatest compliment is when her client says, “This room is delightful and looks just like me!”
